WRETTON PARISH COUNCIL
Wretton Parish Council is recruiting a Parish Clerk & RFO.
The position is for 4 hours per week, flexible home-based hours with required attendance to bi-monthly Parish Council meetings, which are normally held on the first Monday of the month.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Co-ordinating, administration and attending Parish Council meetings, including drafting agendas and writing minutes.
Actioning the decisions of Council.
Maintaining and updating council records and documents.
Handling all Parish Council correspondence, telephone, letters, emails and publications.
Providing advisory support to the Council.
Maintaining and updating the Councils website.
Ensuring the Councils governance and policies are up-to-date.
Managing the Councils financial records, including VAT returns, cashbook, internal audit, budget and forecasting.
Running the payroll, using HMRC basics software.
The salary is Local Government Services Pay Agreement, LC1 (above substantive range), Scale Points 13-17, dependent on experience.
