Clerk & RFO - 12 Hours per week

Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer



We’re looking for an organised, proactive professional to lead the council’s administration and financial management. This is a key role at the heart of our community, supporting good governance, transparent decision-making, and effective service delivery.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage council meetings, agendas, minutes, and documentation
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures
• Work closely with councillors, staff, contractors, and residents
• Maintain records, digital content, and public communications
• Support projects, service improvements, and HR responsibilities
About You:
• CiLCA qualified or willing to work towards it
• Experience in administration, governance, or financial management
• Confident with budgets, reporting, and working with elected members
• Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills
• Professional, diplomatic, and able to manage competing priorities
Other Details:
• Home working
• Some evening meetings and local travel required
• Salary scale is SCP22 £17.47 -SCP25 £18.95
